The SCANEX station network consists of four receiving centers in Moscow, Irkutsk, Magadan and Megion with each center being comprised of 2-4 stations.
The geographic location of the centers provides coverage of most of the Russian territory, as well as adjacent states, while several stations in each center ensure reception redundancy and conflict resolution while working with several satellites simultaneously.
All real-time operation of the network is carried out from a single center and does not require local operators. The control center draws up a daily program (schedule) for the network. All subsequent operations are fully automated, namely schedule delivery to each station, data reception, reporting, analysis, and archiving. The communication is carried out via the Internet through file sharing. There are no special requirements for communication lines.
