Scanex Web Catalog

ScanEx Web Catalog® allows you to organize remote multi-user work with the database of satellite images catalogs created and updated by the cataloging tools of the ScanMagic® application.

Based on ScanEx Web Catalog® software solutions, the owners of archives of remote sensing data can create their own local and online portals allowing users to search, view and retrieve information about images (metadata quick-look and geo-referencing files) stored in the provider’s directory, as well as send an enquiry for the ERS that they may require. The volume of the catalogue database can be tens or hundreds of thousands of records, which allows for the storing of meta-information for a long period of time. When the catalogue is upgraded, the new data immediately becomes available to multiple remote users. Search filters for images of interest include dozens of parameters, allowing users to quickly locate and request the ERS that may be required. The selected results may be represented as a list of attributes, a list of scenes, or mapping coverage. The ScanEx Web Catalog® can save the selection results as a vector coverage in SHP and KML formats.

The ScanEx Web Catalog® software product is a compatible addition to ScanMagic® cataloguing tools, allowing for the development of flexible solutions for remote users to access the metadata of remote sensing via the Internet/provider’s Intranet directory.
